    There are a lot of Bagietka bakeries in Szczecin, so wherever you are in the city you should be able to find one. I think it’s worth visiting at least once. I’m a big fan of bread and baked goods, so Bagietka is one of my favourite restaurants in the city.

    W Szczecinie znajduje się wiele sklepów piekarni Bagietka, dlatego niezależnie od tego gdzie jesteś w mieście możesz znaleźć jeden z nich.  Jestem wielkim fanem chleba i różnego rodzaju wypieków, więc Bagietka jest moją ulubioną piekarnią w mieście.

    A fresh Szczecin (July 17th) Świeży Szczecin (17.07.14)

    The end of our project is approaching. It still seems like we have just arrived here yesterday and everything is still so fresh and new, though I am getting more used to the city. Szczecin is becoming a more and more important part of our lives.

    Zbliża się koniec naszego projektu. Pomimo tego, że coraz bardziej  przyzwyczajam się do miasta, mam wrażenie jakbyśmy przyjechali tu dopiero wczoraj, a wszystko było jeszcze świeże i nowe. Z upływem czasu Szczecin staje się coraz ważniejszą częścią naszego życia.

    Szczecin ma wiele do zaoferowania

    I’ve noticed that when I tell residents of Szczecin that I’m living here for six weeks, they’re usually a little surprised. Most people usually say there’s not enough to do in Szczecin for that long- but I don’t think that’s true. Every weekend I’ve been here I’ve been able to attend some sort of festival or event. I think these events are in some ways more exciting than visiting a more traditional tourist attraction because they’re only available for a little while. Being one of only a few people to see something special while you’re in a different country makes travelling even more worthwhile.

    I’ve been saying I love the weather here in Szczecin since I arrived on the first day. There went today that I enjoyed this weather to the maximum by having lots of fun in Arkonka, the newly opened outdoor swimming pool.

    Od mojego pierwszego dnia pobytu w Szczecinie powtarzam, że uwielbiam tutejszą pogodę.  Dzisiaj mogłam się nią nacieszyć spędzając czas na Arkonce – nowo otwartym basenie.
